College Prep

Beginning in 8th Grade, students in the 15-LOVE program are eligible to participate in the College Prep & Leadership Program. The group meets every Friday night and students also have one-on-one sessions to make sure they are on track to meet their goals. Students work through a five-year curriculum that ends with the college application, financial aid and decision process. Furthermore, 15-LOVE offers graduates the opportunity to apply for the Denise McCoy Scholarship, which offers them financial assistance for up to four years of higher education.

Stanley will attend Western New England University to study civil engineering. He received a $20k USTAF Scholarship Essay Award. He also was recruited to play on the tennis team at Western New England University.

Camilo Juan Diaz was accepted into the Honors Program at UAlbany and will study Video Game Design.

Theodore Cenzia will attend Hudson Valley Community College to study nursing. He is following the career path of his parents and older sibling
